We had our first screening of the series “the Bigger Screen”, which will become a bi-monthly project. For this event, 3 award winning short films for Arab artists were screened on Aman’s “bigger Screen”, in a group setting, rather than viewing them individually. After the screenings were finished, a Skype call was done with two of the directors/artists to further discuss the movies with the crowd.
The aim of the series is to inspire an open conversation beyond the limits of individuality; especially since film can be a powerful medium for expression in topics that may be seen as a taboo or sensitive.
